This summer we are embarking on a whole house remodel which will entail moving the house 14" to the east, raising the house 4', and building a proper foundation to the rear portion of the structure. To do so, we will be nearly rebuilding this home from scratch. Check back for updates on how we will build the new foundation with grade beams and moment frame piers, install new joists to the existing floor and frame an entire new story not to mention replace the entire plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems of the house.
